Arriving in America in 1989 owners Bob and Bhawna Nayee both came from India. Growing up in 3rd world countries, they both knew the only way to succeed was through getting a good education. Bob got his degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bhawna got her Business Management. Together they knew when they were coming to America, their main goal was to create a better life for their soon-to-be family. Bob got his first job in America working for a spa manufacturing company. After a few years, he and his wife started noticing there was a lack in quality in spa covers.

After learning about the flaws in the covers being made, Bob and Bhawna set to create a cover that would resolve those issues. Creating Ocean Spa Covers in 1997 Bhawna devoted her years to learning the craftsmanship of how an industrial sewing machine worked. She learned how each piece would be sewn together, how each stitch would make a difference in the overall product. Dedicating many years, she managed to master the sewing machine. Bob learned the engineering, manufacturing and design side of covers.Through numerous trials and ups and downs together they perfected the product of the spa cover.

Today, they have taught everyone in their staff how to create the “perfect” cover. All of their seamstresses are highly trained directly under Mrs. Nayee and are well qualified to insuring all the covers come out looking great.

“In life, nothing is impossible”- as Bob and Bhawna’s favorite quote. They always strive for success and instil it into their 2 sons, Shan and Sagar. After finishing school their son Shan has joined their team and is playing the role of Operations Manager.

Shan has a degree in accounting and has a wide business background. Shan has set it out as his goal that this company will remain around for another 24+ years keeping the family business growing.
